Some people park at the back of the lot because they want extra exercise. Some people because they arrive late. Other people park at the back of the lot because they drive a VW bus and it won’t fit anywhere else. Aw yeah.

Can’t wait to fulfill my religious obligation to get raving drunk tonight. Chag sameach y’all.
There’s a moment in every day when the world is beautiful and the good fight is unquestionably winnable. Savor that moment.
New post on my blog of brilliance. Check it out, comment, argue, discuss..
Hello friends of a local health reporter,
Can you help?
For an NPR story, I’m looking for a Houston-area person that has no health insurance and is suffering from a fairly common medical disease like diabetes or cancer. They can’t have Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance or other kinds of coverage.
The person must still be working (or was working until recently), therefore not on disability. Also, preferably a legal resident.
And someone comfortable talking about how the lack of health coverage made their illness worse, medications hard to afford or led to other difficulties like bankruptcy.
Unfortunately, I am sure there are many Houstonians like this out there, but they’re not always easy to find.
If you have any ideas please let me know ASAP!
Thank you,
Carrie Feibel
